pay per lead means web ads that pay you each time your visit or see it

it usually pays per 1000 lead not per 1 lead

and it is also small amount like 1$ every 1000 lead

pay per lead is usually when you refer someone to a website and the visitor takes the time to fill out a form. since it takes time to fill out a form for more information, it's considered a lead and after they fill out this form and the information is verified, you get paid. you get paid whether this lead buys something or not.

zamaliphe is talking about something entirely different than pay per lead.

Pay Per Leads: When a customer visits a service related website, and fills up the form or enquiry. Once the enquiry is filled up, it's collected by the respective website holder. And then they make a call to the customer. If the customer agrees to their service, then it turns from enquiry to leads, which is nothing but Pay Per Lead interms of Pay Per Click Advertising.

pay per lead is where you generate an income every time you are able to generate a lead for a specific product or service. Usually they will provide an affiliate link with a landing page. When you drive traffic to that page and someone opts in for more information then you get paid.
