I tried putting in the IP for phpmyadmin, and just worknplay.trap17.com, they both try to connect, but it says access is denied. So I know it's connecting to the server, it's just not letting the account log in. My guess is, connections are only allowed from localhost, but I'm not sure.
Anyone else know?
EDIT: Figured I'd say *why*. I'm building a website for a forum, and I want a safe way for the admins and mods to post news and guides and whatnot. I'm not the master at PHP, so I probably can't figure out how to make a login system, let alone make it safe.
Do a phpinfo() from the cpanel. There is a 'click to show' link on the main cpanel page. Might show you in the results if there are any. I looked, but didn't recognise which directive it might be, though.

I believe there is a directive set for that restriction, yes.

Yeah, I just looked also, but I didn't see anything that stuck out either. =\ I have a feeling Opaque is going to be the only one who can answer this one... Or maybe Buffalo, but I'm not sure.
