I have this for a while now, i've test it, and played a lot of flash games, at least i tryed almost 150 flash games, only the coolest ones.

But now i want to share with all of you this incredible resource, it's an application that you must install (it has no virus, spyware or adware, don't worry, this comes from a credible website with a lot more great freebies), and then open the application from your desktop (the program creates an icon with a blue star on your desktop), then open it with a double click on the icon, and then it will show up a window with 3 menus:

Web page (don't worry, you don't need internet to play or download the games)

Play the game (This is where you will play the free flash games)

Select a game (This is where you choose the flash game you want to play each day, each week and so forth)


Steps:

Click on the "Select the Game" menu, click in the box that says "Database" and select one of the flash games databases (each database has 100's of free flash games), after you choose the database, it will show up screenshots of the flash games, just double click in the ones that seem most attractive to you and also try some even if you don't like the screenshot, maybe you'll like it, it happens to me, and i still have 550 flash games to play yet.

Tips:

If you want to get the flash games (*.swf), for example, to insert on your website/forum/blog, whatever, when you double click on a flash game, you are automatically redirected to the "Play the Game" menu where you can play the game, so, in that same moment, leave the game (but don't close it, do nothing), and go to the directory where you installed the application (700 free flash games application), wich in my case has this path:

C:\Programas\Free-Soft\Flash Games (It's in portuguese)

but in english should be:

C:\Programs\Free-Soft\Flash Games
or
C:\Program Files\Free-Soft\Flash Games

if you have a different language on your operative system, just right click on the free flash games application icon on your desktop (it's an icon with a blue star graphic), and then click in properties where you will see the path where the program has been installed, but you can also know that, or even change it to another directory/drive, when you install this application, or even any other application, it is always the same thing!

Now, there you will see a bunch of databases files, some other files, and 1 swf file (*.swf = flash movie or flash animation) wich is the game you are playing when you open the program and then choose the flash game to play from the databases, and then click play, so copy that swf file to your documents everytime you play a different flash game, that swf file will be created, wich is the same flash game you are playing with the free flash games application, you just have to keep copying and pasting that swf file (flash game in flash technology) in another directory (your documents, or a directory named "flash games" in your documents directory) to keep/save all the 700 free flash games in flash format (*.swf), for instance, to then upload them to your website server to share with your friends, or even insert the 700 free flash games in a website you want to create or that you already have about free flash games, like my website about free flash games here or here http://free-flash-games.awardspace.com, smart tip isn't it?

hehehe, I post this to show you some flash game sites and the method to catch flashes you see on every page.

Here are some flash game sites with a lot a lot of flash games. (But maybe, they don't provide you with the links of those flash games, so if you don't know how to catch the direct links. you can not download them)

So now i will show you the method to catch the links of those flash games.

What you need is FIREFOX, FIREFOX forever. It will help you to catch the direct links of whatever flashes you see on each page. (hehe, of course i can use firefox to catch the mp3 or wma links)

So let see. I will choose the site www.flash-game.net as my example.

Suppose that i access www.flash-game.net with firefox and play a game. and that game is called Holy Cow.

So, my page is like this:



Then, look at the TOOLS on Menu Bar of Firefox. Choose Tools / choose Page Info



Then a frame will appear like this



Then you have to move from General to MEDIA as you see on the picture.

In MEDIA frame,

You will see a list of addresses and types, that contains the link of every media ( picture, background, EMBED) in the page and the type of that media right next to the address. Below the list is the information of the media you choose on the list.

Then, you find on the list every media whose type is EMBED (which is flash, wma, or mp3, vvvvv). Then look at the link at the information below the list. If that media is flash, you will see at the end of the link is ".swf" (but sometimes it isn't). Remember this carefully, A page can contain more than 1 flash. So if that page has a lot of flashes (contains the flash game you are playing), there are a lot of addresses whose type EMBED on the list too. So you need to check every link by adding it into the address or download it. BUT my experience, every game flash has a long link than other normal flashes on the page, or it contains number as an order.
When you catch the link of the flash game, you can download it. Good luck.But Don't play game so much, if don't, you eyes will be sick. (My eyes are sick now Oh la la)

There's many plugins which you can use to download flash files and all kinds of multimedia, one of them is "flashsave", just visit the link with the flash file, then click the flashsave button, then choose the box named save, right click on the swf file and click save as, to save on your hard drive.

P.S. Sherwood only is 3-D combat and does not offer all of the skills runescape does. Runescape (if u don't know) is an MMORPG with many skills to master in a massive world. I used to play it a lot but eventually got tired of it. It is technically 3-D and can keep anyone busy for quite sometime. It's totally free, but u can pay about $5 a month to be a member who have the ability to use the whole map and all the skills (as well as other features). If you are interested go to.....
