Well I hope I am still able to post here. My favorite RPG games of all time is either Ragnarok or Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction. Well, Diablo 2 was great because I had a whole gang of friends who played with me, and it's actually pretty interesting because RPG games where you can trade items...make like an in-game economy, so it's fun getting good at those.

My favorite RPG is, And probaly always will be, Runescape.
The main reason is the community.
Also the graphics arnt great but there nice seeing as I don't play for the GFX.
The staff isn't so nice though =\

Mine is Adventure Quest. It's at http://www.battleon.com. It's really fun, and i'm a Gaurdian now. It's difficult to login if your an adventurer, but now they implemented a new awesome feature. It'll be easier to login now.
I also like Maple Story, but not as much as Adventure Quest.

I really like ChronoTrigger. It was the game that introduced me to Rpgs. Before this game I would think that rpgs were slow and boring games (I never considered zelda and diablo type games to be rpgs) were you had to wait for your turn to attack and things like that. I really liked this game because you get absorbed by the games story and how everything comes a long. Final fantasy 7 was really really awesome too. I really liked the animations and specially the hi tech fantasious mystical graphics. Its crazy. I cant wait for ff7 to come out on ps3.

It seems RPG's are more about graphics then gameplay lately... Still, my favorites are the 2D style RPG's, and espaccially Massive Multiplayer online RPG's (MMORPGS) like Astonia... Too bad astonia takes a monthly fee, otherwise I would probably be still playing it. I've tried enw games like KalOnline, which are fun for the start but get boring after a few weeks. Also, some RPG like games like GunZ Online International, which is a First person shooter style RPG, are nice in my eyes. I've also played ROSE online for a few weeks, it got boring, and it went Pay to Play.

The king of all RPGs is definetly Baldur's Gate - the best role playing game I ever played. The other one is Neverwinter Nights, wich is very similar to BG but has 3D graphics.

I like too many Rpgs to mention but I would have to say either Final Fantasy 8, Musashi, Star Ocean, or some cult classics like Persona and Shadow Madness.

My favorite RPG game of all time is shadowrun on the sega genesis, I dont know why they havent made a sequel or put it on the playstation. Other roleplaying games I like are Fable, Guild Wars, WOW, and Dark age of camelot. I have a level 45 character on dark age of camelot, i sold it for 70$ on ebay. I had a lot of equipment and my own guild with a few members its cool, I liked the game a lot before i sold my character. Another game i like a lot is diablo, I played diablo a lot when i was younger, 2-3 years ago. Oh yeah, as i can remember back in that cold backporch room in 2001...

My favorite RPG game ever would be Fallout & Fallout 2.
However my current fav rpg is GuildWars which I spend hours and hours a day in ^_^

my most loved RPG is "Dark Cloud 2" the game play is great, it keeps you busy for ages and the game is one of the best out there. i hope they brong out Dark Cloud 3 that whould be so cool.

My favourite RPG goes to Xenogears. That will be the game which I'll say out as the greatest RPG ever made. Somehow, Tetsuya Takahasi made Xenosaga which so much of downgrade in gameplay and story I think... I cannot have the same atmosphere in Xenogears anymore within Xenosaga...

My favorite RPG game has to be Final Fantasy 9 followed by Final Fantasy 7. I've stated the opposite in other topics like these because I only played that much of Final Fantasy 9.

I actually didn't play so much RPG's, but the massive multiplayer are the best. The first one I ever played was The legend of Mir 2: The three heroes. My brother got it from a friend, and i was young then. I never heard of RPG before. First I said it was stupid, but after playing it for a few hours, i was completely addicted to it. Then I played The legend of Mir 3: Evil Illusions for a time. After that I played Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction for a short time and I liked it. I only liked the more people on one server thing better. And then i found out WoW. I tried to enter the closed Beta, but didn't came in. Then I played open Beta and Europe open Beta. I loved it very much. And i buyed the game. It's my favourite RPG. It's really good.

My favourite RPG Game is Arvale 2 - Ocean Of Time. Most of you will not even have heard it, because it is for Pocket PCs.. It is truly an amazing RPG, as it has tons of monsters to fight against, and very good quality graphics. I love it ^_^

i like harvest moon, kingdom hearts, and final fantasy.... if those count as RPG XD
harvest moon is pretty boring =/ but it's a addicting game!!!
and i've only played final fantasy crystal chornicals but it's still a really cool game (some what repitive....)
hey, does the legend of zelda count as a role play game?

i like runescape as it is very cheap,t he graphics are gtreat for a game like that. the community is good everyone helps out and stuff. but mostly it is very easy tog et the hang of , making it very easy to play.

Dragon Ball live 2

Its not got particularly good grpahics but the game play is ok and it is mass multiplayer and it is based on one of my fav tv programs dragonballz it rocks.

my favourite RPG has to be halo 2 the game is completly sick, with a massive range of weapons and the online capability is great unless you get battered at it then its not too good lol great game 10/10 :P

hmm thats a good question... my favorite RolePlay game would have to be The Elder Scrolls 3 : Morrowind. That game is the greatest. Its great for 2 reasons, it has a million open doors that change the aspect of the game, and that it is as long as you want the game to be, theres no set goal that you HAVE to meet. Its challenging, aside from the main goal, and it just gets more interesting finding all the hidden items and overlooked places than the first time played. I am anxiously awaiting the Next Morrowind, i encourage all great RPG game seekers to buy that game, its truely amazing.

i donīunderstan about ff7.I try to like it(ff7) but I just can't. I just see the battle system as bogged down by lengthy animations, characters with no individuation, and so little difficulty you could probably gameshark your entire party to be berserk the whole game and still win (Save for one or two boss battles where you actually need to heal).
And the plot strikes me as having a lot of vague metaphysical jargon that has the appearance of being deep if you don't look very closely. But when you get to the middle it drags..you're just chasing Sephiroth from place to place for the first disc then chasing huge materia for the second.
So..somebody please explain to me what I'm missing about FF7!
My favorite RPGs of all time are as follows (In no particular order):
FF4, FF5, FFTactics, Lufia 1-2, Tales of Destiny, Tales of Eternia, Star Ocean 1-3, Xenogears.
That basically covers the ones I still have an urge to play, except that I want to start an FF6 game for sentimental reasons and another DW7 game because I didn't finish the first time.
(And there are a few games I started, stopped, but still intend to finish, like Xenosaga II and La Pucelle Tactics).
And I'm highly anticipating Dragon Warrior 8 and Tales of Legendia.

By RPG this includes MMORPG, right?

One of my favourite RPG's is Final Fantasy 8, I really enjoyed the plot line and the character development through that game. People all seem to say the FF7 was the classic, but seeing as I've never been able to get my hands on that, I'll just stick to cheering for FF8 B) .

A MMORPG that I absolutely love is Ragnarok Online. The community's the best I've seen in any MMORPG so far, and the characters are just so cute! The graphics are really original, 2D characters in a 3D background and the range of appearances, jobs and classes really make each character unique.

My favorite RPG is with no doubt, Final Fantasy 7. I've tried Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, but after a while, [After getting a paladin up to level 86] I realized that items (especially Breath of the Dying) meant much more than skill. I like the Final Fantasy series pretty much. Also a good RPG out there is The Legend of Dragoon, the battle system is a little more exciting than others I have encountered (mostly because of additions). I would reccommend buying The Legend of Dragoon and Final Fantasy 7 to anyone looking for a good RPG to play.

I once played an RPG, named NeverWinter Nights. Have you guys heard of it?

I love it because of the endless amount of mods that can be done for the game. This keeps the game more modern.

Definitely mine itīs Secret of Mana. Other good titles, FF VI and VII, Xenogears and for PC, Icewind Dale and Baldurīs Gate I and II.
