After reading the thread about ' COnsole game sounds' I decided to post this. What is your favorite OST(Original Soundtrack) or song from a videogame? If you tell me the game and name I can provide a link to download the song.

i will have to say my favorite game soundtrack is for Kotor 1 and 2, but my favorite song from a game is from Halo 2, Blow Me Away by Breaking Benjamin, they my favorite band so get used to it

does not matter much to me :rolleyes: i love all of the music they have on every singel game :lol: but most of all i love all of the Final Fantasy music :D and chrono cross music :( i always listen to the begining theme B)

Mine is 'Highway to the DangerZone' in the Top Gun films and the game. I think that is such a cool song. I also heard Lenny Kravit's 'Are you gonna go my way' somewhere on a game. That's a cool song to.

The music from all Metal Gear Solid (PS, PS2, PC) games are awsome! Most of them are written by Harry Gregson Williams, and they are all orchestral action-type music, probably the best music I've heard from a game!

The music in Final Fantasy 8 is awsome too!

BB is good...Prefer 'We are not alone' to saturate though...LOD and the Final fantasy series...

My favorite OST has to be Final Fantasy VIII OST from the Playstation game. The graphics are good, the game is fun, and the soundtrack rules.

Heh, it seems quite a ew of you like the Warcraft III OST. It's without a question that Blizzard creates awesome music. I downloaded all the Diablo II mp3's from their site and burnt it into my own mix, Of course it's missing a file or two :P

Hm, compared to allot of people I haven't played allot of games, but out of all the games I have played I'd have to say THPS4.

I am a big THPS(tony hawks proskater.../underground) "fan", play TH4-T1 allot, and even if it wasn't a skating game TH4's is nice.

Actually now that I think of it, its kind of a tie between TH4/Burnout 3..

I am so surprised that more people did not list the Final Fantasy soundtracks as their favorite VGMs. They so happen to be mine. I love all of Nobuo Uematsu's music so much that i actually own all the OSTs of all the Final Fantasy games. However, i would have to say that the Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack was the best. The reason i think that is because of how much the music makes ones mind relate to the mood of the game and the feelings of the game the specific moments in it. Everytime i hear one of the songs i can relate to the characters and how they feel along with how i feel current at the moment. They just are awesome and i recommend purchasing them and supporting Nobuo Uematsu.

crono cross had the sweetest song track, the intro along ruled, final fantasy 7-8-9-10 had sound tracks worthy of listening to as well.

My favorite game soundtrack is from Morrowind: The Elder Scrolls. It has a lot of different "back ground" music types. Much like KOTOR, this music adds to the suspense of the game. This is especially true of hard core battle scenes when the music is crazy. It also helps pass the time from one main event to another.

Every single in Need For Speed uNderground is just amazing. The whole idea of putting this type of songs in that game was very exciting, and I still love to play that game, where you can simply relax and listen to good music.

Im a fan of Burn Out 3, even though most people agree that they are not really racing songs. EA was cool enough to compile over 40 songs of up and coming bands on it, which has broadened my musical taste. Ive heard many of those song on the radio lately (actually months after the game was released). Hearing them brings me back to my racing roots, and smashing car after car (takedown rampage!!!)
But original sound tracks are cool too...(ie. halo)
Im also a BIG fan of The Mini Bosses, they are a cover band who cover countless Nintendo classics with amazing accuracy and sound.
