P.S. Take note, the first three signatures are made up of nothing more, and nothing less than a single color background, with 10-30 layers of the render smudged w. different layer effects, font, a see-through/partial-transparent layer, and a border. The fourth one is a plain background w/ grunge layers, a vector layer, and effected render layers, along with the semi-transparent, font, and border

I tried to get the whole blending thing going, I even put in a light source into the first one to make it all match

Hey Everyone,
Im a new 'designer' and i wanted to show some people my recent attempts at half decent forum signatures.
Ive just been fiddling with photoshop a bit as a recently ~~downloaded~~ bought it.

Here are some of my signatures for my favorite band Disturbed.

This is one of my most favorite signatures that I've made.

This one is also my favorite one. By the way the url on the signature is no longer valid. My site went down so I'm working on getting a new domain. I am quite proud of this one I think it blended together really nicely.

And a couple more that I just love.

What do you guys think of them? I'll post more soon.

Sorry to be back with a signature so soon, I just wanted to test something out real quick with kind of the style I used last time. I twisted it more this time and I used Gaara from "Naruto" as my render. I tried to add some Japanese feel to it by adding the lamp and stuff -- but I don't know if its japanese... so don't shout at me if its Chinese The sig is also like a desert and the sand in engulfing Gaara. Anyways, I thought a simple text would be more than enough to get this signature looking good.

I corrected the lighting problem in the signature (i think i did anyway ). Is it better now? or has it gone from bad to worse?

I made these two -- avatar and signature after looking at Baniboy's SOTW signature and Web_designer's MeInterest Banner. I just made the avatar from resizing the signature, that was easy

Pure Venom Signature

OK, this might be the longest time I ever took to complete a signature, just when I think its good and start to save, I find another problem and fix and so on. It took me about 3 hours to make this sig. It has over 30 layers, 7 C4D's, 4 renders (3 in the background), 4 gradient maps, 12 vibrant brushes, 3 grunges and a few more smudges and splatters in the background with linear dodge or overlay turned on. The render is 'Venom', the inner villain of �Spider-Man. I picked the title 'Pure' because it was kind of ironic and hes just pure evil/venom.�

As usual, Please rate it on a 1/10 scale.�

I have successfully made a signature of this ghost-like looking guy who happens to be my arch rival. So, if you see him, let me know or pm me This signature has smudges, c4d, wireframes (set to lighten and dodges) and perspective lighting. I did this signature in jiffy and tried to look at different ways of making stuff and thought myself alot by making this sig.

Hello guys. I made a signature on my favorite anime of ALL TIME. It's on a guy called 'Lelouch VI Britannia' who is from an anime called 'Code Geass'. It's pretty cool, you guys should watch it sometime. The signature has alot of lighting and a few c4ds in it. I was going to keep no text at first, then I put the text up and decided it wasn't half bad so I kept it that way.

The Music Signature

I made another signature, this one is based on 'Music'. It took me about 2-3 hours to make. The texture and stuff are splattery and grungy because music can be dark and mysterious... well, does that make sense? , ok it doesn't well, never mind with the intro. It has alot of lighting work and effects on it, it really isn't simple to look at all, you might notice the text is not noticeable, its because the light is coming from that direction and it whitens that part (i did it on purpose) and it also makes it blend it. It says 'DeadMad7, Immortal'. Immortal says that 'Music' is immortal and it lives for ever, not that im immortal

Please rate it on a 1/10 Scale please.

Note: About the borders, they are there, but there are white so you can't see them, its two white bars on top and bottom.
