I'm going to go ahead and bring up Unity3d here. It's an excellent engine that works on scripting you can pick up easily (JavaScript, C#, and others). And you can create any type of game with it, .

Try using engine001 it is a free game creator used to make any type of game like an rpg or a car racing game like you want it can be used for alot of things and has a great graphical scripting interface if you dont want to learn code hope this helps
