Sonar vs. Cubase

SONAR by Cakewalk really isn't a sequencer. Yes, it has sequencer (a.k.a. MIDI) functions, but it's not a straight-out sequencer, as it deals with audio and video as well. I think SONAR is best suited in a poll the instead features Fruity Loops and ACID. I won't deny that Cakewalk is a great company, however

fruity loops and acid are like demi-pro programs tho, and sonar and cakewalk are about $400 i believe. i dont' think fruity loops or acid can be compared to sonar or cubase, but i dont' really know that much..im thinking sonar is the most full featured and i might go try it out. right now i just use the free Audacity for all my audio editing and mixing, and wavepad for simple recording off my mic..but i'd like to try out some something more pro. to see what it's like. or just for fun.
