Whereas as Simpsons is a classic, and also funny but I don't find it as amusing and nowhere near as enjoyable as Family Guy

Homer doesn't need to be as rude as Peter to be funnier than him. Homer is funny...Period. Homer is actually funnier than Peter. That being said, Family Guy is waaay funnier than The Simpsons. This is true because Homer is the only main character of The Simpsons that is funny while Family Guy has Peter, Stewie, and Quagmire. Peter isn't the funniest main character on Family Guy. Stewie has that title. The random clips also pushes the envelope when it comes to comedy.-Samuel Jones

Nah, simpsons are better, family guy is just stupid, it has its funny parts but for the main points its just digusting and stupid, the baby wants to kill the mother, the mother does marujana while shes pregnant, theyre constantly calling meg ugly and fat, this is stupid, its not funny its basically mean, and you know taht in todays day somehting thats rated 14+ is being watched by 8 year olds. It encourages more swearing, sex and other things, overall most of its antiques are racist, sexist and stupid. And the random clips are the dumbest parts of the show.

Well The Simpsons Is The Winner By Far, And Its Much Funnier And Family Guy Has Just Copied The Simpsons Totally And The Simpsons Has Made Much More Better Episodes, And No Matter How Many Bad Epsidodes They Will Make, They Will Always Be Better Than Family Guys Best Episodes, And Freaks Cuz Theyre Yellow? I think that the simpsons is funneyer because family guy is very offenceve and many of the jokes are random clips thous really make me want to change the channel were as the simpsons you don't need a rude character I meen to tell you being rude and ubnokcious is a bad trait family has its moments like the chicken fights but then when you look back Seth really just took alot of the simpsons stuff plus I grew up viewing the simpsons sorry fam guy fans.

Family Guy is WAY funnier than the Simpsons. Its just the randomness of family guy that I like and the way that family guy doesnt care if its criticised, they will still keep on making the episodes crazy and funny and offensive no matter what. They stick to their guns an I love em for that.

I like family guy but the Simpson’sSurpasses it without a doubt. The human hits a wide age group and intelligenceLevel. When comparing family guy to the Simpson’s, family guy is getting lessFunny compared to the point at which the Simpson’s funny started to decline. FamilyGuy is in the 7th season and it’s declining, animation is bad, jokes aren’t asFunny, its classic family guy humor. The Simpson’s didn’t start to declineUntil around season 14, however they still keep it fresh by changing theEpisode to look like another sitcom on television, plus the animation isExcellent. Also, have you ever listened to a family guy commentary? SethMacFarlane is not funny. He sits there are just watches the episode with youBasically. Does anyone actually have any examples of anything Family Guy "copied" from The Simpsons?

I feel like half the people who are going to come on here saying they've watched every single episode of The Simpsons since it first aired, probably weren't even born when it first aired.

Replying to TheStandFamily guy and american dad are dumbed down for the viewers. Simpsons on the other hand (mainly season 3-6) is smart, forward and much funnier than any other show, possibly ever.

simpsons all the way, they have subtle jokes, and a wide age range can watch it. You can sit with your family and watch the simpsons, there's humor for everyone.

how can you idolize or have fun watching a show that centers around violent humor and crude sex jokes? And, the show is great because IT offends people? since when is offending others a good thing? or funny? Let's be mean just for the sake of it! It's only a cartoon, I know, but the guy who created it is not a cartoon, and he means what he says. And his fans worship him because he's offensive. I admire that he defends his opinios in such a bold way, but there are other ways too. But, hey! who cares, right? watching a horribly animated/drawn cartoon of a fat guy fighting a giant chicken for 4 minutes straight is funny!
