that works for navbars and such...even if you don't want the codes you get you can save the button pics and use em.

depends what kind of buttons you want to make if you have photoshop, gimp or paint you can desing your own. By just adding colors, or making them gradient.

If you have photoshop. http://thewebmachine.com has some tutorials to design buttons.

I believe you can put an image onto a button, but it looks very bad. You would be best off designing like earlier said; http://good-tutorials.com has some nice instructions for Adobe Photoshop 7/CS.

for me .. i would use paint shop pro or fireworks mx to do a button ..
just a simple one .. like creating a box and some words inside it ... add some bg effect or text effect .. that would be a nice one ...

thx for the freelayouts.com sharing .. it's awesome ... i like that very very much .. it looks so cool ~
thx for sharing !

SHARING is BELIEVING

Youcan use paint and just well open up the picture of your main image for your website and put a box around it...Lmao thats was I do...It's really easy...

Thats how I made my avatar and banner. I created and picture using brushes and paint and then boxed around it......

Okay forget I said anything it's a dumb way.

You probably have figured this out already

I drew mine in photoshop and then added the fancy effects on flash. It was pretty simple thanks to the free tutorials that describe everything step by step. So you might want to check out http://www.kirupa.com/ for some examples in their forum.
