What's Your FAVORITE music band?

I'm not telling ou any certain band, just the kinds of music.
1.- Thrash Metal (Beyond the embrace, Anthrax, Megadeth, ...)
2.- Nu-Metal (Machine Head, Mnemic, ...) (Thrash/Progresive Metal)
3.- Death Metal (Kataklysm, ...)
4.- Heavy Metal (Children of Bodom, ...)
Listen to some of their songs, and start from there
(Just don't finish with NoN-MeTaL bands 
)

I likes Metals 
.. But I'm kinda picky when it comes to the style within the Metal genre... I prefer the melodic type stuff. So below is my list
1. In Flames
2. Children Of Bodom
3. Dark Tranquillity
4. Nightwish
5. Metallica (I don't really like them as much as I use to)

If any of you guys are into jam bands, you need to have a listen to moe., a jam band up my way. For the longest time, they've been described as the next Phish, so now that Phish is over, moe. has a chance to actually become that. Give 'em a listen, they won't dissapoint.

Becoz they are my favorite artists.
I like there born to be wild songs
And even many albums like ostrich, hey lawdy mama and much more.
Listen to this old band u will love it...

I recently got into Panic! at the Disco. An awesome band and it finally made it on Billboard's Top 40 - which they completely deserve. They can sort of be compared to Fall Out Boy, so if you like Fall Out Boy, you'll most likely like Panic! as well.
Aside from them, I like Green Day, Son of Dork, Fall Out Boy, Relient K, things of that nature. I'm not all that picky when it comes to music, actually, as long as the lyrics have some meaning I'm usually all for it.

does it have to be a top 5? coz right now, i only have one and i don't think they'll be replaced by any other (or even the new ones right now) band out there any time soon. i totally love dishwalla. their music speaks my soul or something like that. they are the best band for me.

In my opinion, these are the 10 best bands in the world EVER! They aren't in order of preference, because i can't choose!
1. Foo fighters
2. Rage against the machine
3. Arctic Monkeys
4. System of a down
5. Arcade Fire
6. Red Hot Chilli Peppers
7. Dragonforce
8. Funeral for a friend
9. Fall Out Boy
10. The White Stripes
I would also include Slipknot, The Strokes, Queens of the stone age, Pantera, Green Day, Lostprophets and The Hives.
