All of the sites mentioned here so far are really bad. So bad they are ridiculous.
So ridiculous they are almost entertaining when you try and imagine
who in the world would ever make such sites.
Come to think of it though, a lot of the myspace sites are pretty awful.
The way they take forever to load and are full of these giant images
and skewered page setups. It's all pretty bad.

To revive this topic from the dead... The (5) most annoying sites (I found accidentally surfing - some were intentionally put up as an example of bad design, some not) you wish you never visited:

http://www.arngren.net/ - God! Do you have the will to even click anywhere?!

http://www.frnz.de/ - It's interesting that Franz is paying for a .de hosting...

http://www.angelfire.../super/badwebs/ - I think this one is just made to show what your website shouldn't look like, but anyway...

http://www.spaceistheplace.ca/ - Many words, not one good for this particular website (but then again, not one of these will be good, so...). I mean, the blue for the background?! I won't spend anymore words.

http://www.bw-hilche...iegsmarine.html - I didn't see the sound coming. Not for a single second. ;)

And that's the list I keep in my bookmarks in case anyone ever would say I don't know how to code in any programming language!

P.S. I didn't read the whole topic, but did you notice we make free advertising for these sites? :P

GOD, where did you find these :P they are extremely annoying websites. i got a headache just from looking at them for a one minute. i wonder what the designer was thinking of when he design such a horible one?

after all, we are kind of advertising to these websites, but in a negative way. like it is a top 10 list for the worst sites ever ;) .

Years and years of experience. :P

Only kidding, but in every joke there is at least a little truth ;). I think two of them were listed in an article or book about web design I was reading some time ago, and my friends showed me the others. Yup, can you believe that? My friends. :P

I don't know if they were trying to collapse or hypnotize me, maybe... :D

I started cracking up after the 20th time he said 'Zombo Com', he was just getting more intense..
I don't know why but I have a real fetish for ridiculously clustered websites. You know there's thousands of pages worth of content- with links to each one on the homepage! It's exciting. :) HavenWorks.com is a perfect example.

Here's a good one:

http://www.lingscars.com/
I think this site actually works well though. The creator is now one of the most successful car leasers in the UK. She went on 'Dragons Den' (like American inventor only classy) and was a really hyperactive Asian girl with a two-hour lecture's worth of things to say about her business: it seems only fair that her website is as sparky as her.

That site is so badly made! Watch the woman holding the card on the homepage and the card randomly disappears and she does a V-sign Posted Image

NB: in my above post, the 3rd link is supposed to be: http://www.teamdead....ntoo/e-shrooms/
