Ok, I just found out that 6ht book in the Harry Potter series has been given an official title, and now called Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. (Check out J.K. Rowling's offcial site). I can't wait to read it!

Yes, I was watching Buffalo news when they announced that.

Apparently, the "Half Blood Prince" is neither Harry nor Voldemort, but someone from the second book. Which really doesn't narrow it down much. Then again, maybe it's Riddle (before he became Voldemort) and JK is just trying to confuse the readers. Apparently, Riddle was a half-blood.

I think she's messing with us cause the only boys I can think of from the second book besides Harry, Ron, and Riddle. Are Malfroy his Dad and Malfroy's 2 flunkie, and Gildroy. And we know the major half-bloods are Harry and Riddle

Well JK had denied clearly that HBP is one of Voldemort or Harry.
So I don't think it'll be Riddle (well that's Voldemort) :P

There is more probability for the HBP to be Hagrid or Some member of the OoP (Lupin)
Hagrid admits he is half blood. In GoF I think. Lupin is a werewolf, or maybe it's someone we still haven't met.

I think JK Rowling confirmed that it wasn't Riddle on her site recently.

My main suspects for the HBP are Hagrid or Dean Thomas.

Rowling usually does the unexpected in her books so "The Half Blood Prince" is going to be someone that you would probably never suspect, or a character the readers probably already forgotten. Someone like Colin Creevey or someone lame like that :D.

2) I can use some english reading training
3) I never read an english book and I want to find out how they are written

Cya arraund sometimes...

Did you see that the door at JK's site was open recently. There is an excerpt from HBP there. wow I'm now trying to guess who's that person mentioned there.

Quote

He looked rather like an old lion. There were streaks of grey in his mane of tawny hair and his bushy eyebrows; he had keen yellowish eyes behind a pair of wire rimmed spectacles and a certain rangy, loping grace even though he walked with a slight limp.

I hate to admit that I can't wait for the 6th book

I just hope it isnt as bitterly boring as the 5th book, which was so hard to stay involved with through the firs few hundred pages. I wonder how long the book will be?

I hope the book doesn't get any thicker... I'll still read it anyway, but it takes so long... with the 5th book I read a few chapters then stopped for a while cuz I couldn't be bothered with it cuz I'm so lazy... but then I ended up reading the whole thing anyway cuz I wanted to know what happend :D

How about Neville Longbottom? I think he's going to start playing a biger part in things.

"Someone from the second book", though, that means they were introduced in the second book. hmmm.

Lol, I would never talk about Harry Potter in real life with my friends. #_# It's too nerdy. ;)

It's hard to believe this is the 6th book...one more book and it'll probably be all over..=(

The books really are terrific though..JK Rowling is a fantastic author. But the 5th book is hard for me to remember...maybe I'll re-read it or something.

But wow..I can't wait anyhow. They just get you so hooked. >_> I vowed I would never read another Harry Potter book like...3 years ago...but I just HAD to know what happened...so i still...bought the books. >_< oh well, they're good and I don't care what anyone else thinks. =P

She killed it with #5, Sirius should have killed that chick. Sirius>>>>>>>>everytone! Unless he comes back and kills Voldemort, which won't happen, but it should! I will not read it...and if I have too, I wont like it! The movies are better though. Emma Watson is hot!

Lol, my friends and I are obsessed with Harry Potter...and we are not nerds...just band geeks lol (too bad we didn't get voted most embarrasing tho ;)

Yeah, the books are very cool, but I hated the 5th book. Sirius shoulda lived (well technically we don't know what happened to him), and it was WAY too long. Don't get me wrong, I love long books. It just didn't really flow sorta. It was just a bunch of random stuff happening.

No, I'm glad Bella lived. Sirius just shouldn't have gone. And according to the prophecy, Harry is the only one who can kill Voldie. Although I think there is some loophole in it cuz it was worded very carefully. GAH and I hate the movies. Especially the first two. In the third Daniel Radcliffe finally started showing some emotion (took long enough), but Emma Watson bugged me EVEN MORE (GAH she is NOT hot)(then again I'm a straight girl so maybe I can't say...now Tom Felton on the other hand...).

Gar, I hope it's not a new character. I originally thought it might be Tom Riddle (before he became Voldie), but on JKR's site she said it's not Harry or Voldemort or Tom Riddle. I think that it's either Lupin or Hagrid.

Guesses make the book more interesting. You get to hear other people's theories on what could happen and stuff, and improve your own. Yeah, it's annoying when people spoil the end for those who haven't read it yet, but the book isn't even out yet.

Anyway...July 16...can't wait ;)

Rowling already confirmed that Half Blood Prince would not be as long as Order of the Phoenix, that said, there are many good forums that have much deeper theories that explain alot of things. I suggest you take a look if you are a big fan of the series.
