Dear Trap17 Members,

I have already started a topic on how I can improve my Site, and had few suggestions like making the edges rounder, changing the colour scheme, I kinda changed the colour scheme a little bit added red, and chaned the menus to mouseover. I wasnt able to change the corners to rounded ones, but any way I was able to finally finish my website. I know its not that good, but i'm jus a begginer. On the website i was able to provide Email service, and you are able to login to your GMail Account using my site (Thanks To Snlildude). So tell Freely What you think About My Website

A nice and simple layout. The only problem with the layout is that even though it was small, it took time to load. Probably because the image file size is big (like for example, the trap17 banner at the right is around 9 KB).
Another thing. The forums button on the top (below the header) leads me to a page with only two links (login and register). Now people would like to have a look at the forums before registering and posting. A suggestion would be to direct the link towards the main forum page instead.
Overall, I think you've done a good job.
I'd rate your website a 6.5 out of 10.

It's a nice simple layout and it's good that you wrote it yourself however:
Titles
The titles of forum, mail controls and gmail are a bit too bold and clashing, i suggest you change em all to same font and just have them bold arial, all content font would look nicer arial or tahoma. and that red just clashes. I'd suggest you stick to a color scheme, like blue ranging from blue --> light/dark blue + aqua.

Overall it's nice but the colors and titles are a little rough, but nice (Y) [thumbs up]

Yeah, I changed the file size to JPEG so it loads faster, I changed the forum button so it takes you straight to the forums. thankx for the advice:

I change the Mail Controls and Gmail to Arial as you suggested, I dont know what HEX the colours are so well i couldnt change the Colour Scheme, I tries changing the themes but it just didnt look right. Thankx for the adivice!!

I added BLAG to my site now, and now I'm working on the Funny Part, I got 60 Funny Flash I can add, i'm going to make them to come out on popups.

In order to change the corners to rounded ones, i acomplish that using small background images, these are just a rounded corners which match with the others colors, for some elements. In CSS you will right something like:
Lets say you have a div elment with "id=footer". You want the bottom left border to be rounded. You create a small image with the desired rounded corner and put it as background image:
#footer {
background: url(./images/curve_lb.gif) bottom left no-repeat;
}

Aww, your site is does not deserve a 3/10. I'd give it a 7/10 for its simplicity (I like sites with simple designs because it loads quickly on my dialup connection ). Anyways, one thing that I'd recommend you do is to run your site against a spell checker because that would make your site much more professional looking.

Thankx Snlildude, and the chicks thing would be against the Terms of Service of trap17.

And mizako, I tried making round images and adding them in the website but it recked all the layout, I'm not that professional to fix it. Thankx for the advice tho,
