Hey i made a site for my friend and I use firefox but the <embed> and <bgsound> commands dont work through firefox is there a command that does play sound through firefox? Thanks a million in advance

Hmm... I saw this one site that had all the ways to embed flash, java, background music, etc. on it, but I can't remember where. Maybe HTML Help might help some. I hope you find what you're looking for -_-

I might be wrong, but doesnt Firefox block such things, because it might containa security breach?

Try it with Internet Explorer, and if Internet Explorer works, then you know there is a problem with Firefox

oh boy, thats mainly why i always use flash to embed sounds. With flash you have the best compatibility with (almost) all browsers.
But if you do want to embed music files, this page will help you thru:
