Are Dual Xeons Good?

I want to know how good two xeons are running on a server mainboard with 1gig of ecc ram (ddr400) :(

It depands on your requirment .

Most likely , Dual Xeon 2.4G + 1G ECC Registerd DDR are good enough .

dual xeons is cheaper than a dualcore amd opteron.... like 400 dollars for 2 physical processors is better than 400 dollars for 2 in 1 processor. 2 separate processors is faster.. and with HT since it is intel. anyways they are good, but primary investment would be in ram.
