I've had a 1935 Silver Certificate series 1935 F for while now, and I'm pondering its worth. It has no creases but it's well-worn.
The number on the back lower right corner is 6407. Does that pertain to the value at all?

Do any of you perhaps know the value of this?

sorry, I don't know what kind of thing I have to imagine but it sounds like whatever it is is a pre-WWII-thingy with the serial number 6407 (<-- stating the obvious).

maybe you could search your town for some guy who buys/sells antique things and ask him what he thinks about this?
anyway, don't try ebay - if it's some rare thing, you might end up getting less than its value...

It's probably not worth much. Paper money doesn't appreciate like coins. We had some awhile back that were only worth face value. Luckily, that's all we paid for them.

OTOH, don't take my word for it. There might be something special about it that I don't know. Your best bet is to take it to a serious coin dealer and ask the owner. even then, you could get another opinion if you don't like that one. Just be prepared for bad news.

If I gave answers like that on my statistics exam, quite sure I would have flunked instead of making a 98%.

AS has been said, I do not believe the value of paper money really goes up much, because it's just paper. I myself am actually curious as to the values of some of the coins I have, though. I've got some pretty cool looking coins, however that won't necessarily mean they're worth anything^^
