Yea, same here about the disk space! Mine says 'unlimited' right now too. We'll have to wait and see what that's all about. But don't get me wrong, in no way am I complaining or anything, but 'wow' is right!

There have been a few incidents like this already. It might have to with testing purposes in the Administration's case. If not, it might just be a bug that just has to be fixed. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Nah, my hopes aren't up, it's just interesting to see. I'm happy with the hosting size that they gave me, because I don't think that with my site I could ever fill that up. It's already a huge number to start out with.

Darn! And I thought I was one of the few to have this secret space increase. LOL. Here I was thinking that due to my super job, I was rewarded with unlimited storage space. Thank you for bursting my bubble. I should probably find some humble pie…

Yeah, I have it too.

And Horus, don't start messing with around because you could create a script that would end up making one of the admins ban you. That happened to Mario once, and he's outta here.

Yeah, I just logged into cPanel, and have noticed the unlimited Disk Space. I was shocked at first, then I realized they might be doing maintenance to the servers.

Mine, too, says Unlimited MB. However, I'm happy just with the package I had. 150 MB is more than enough for me. Having unlimited space (Even for a short time) doesn't really matter to me. My hopes definitely aren't up. I don't really use much space. I've only used about 26 MB

lol... I know it is hard to use up lots of space, at least for me it is. My site hasn't been up very long, but I've still only used less than 5MBs. And out of the amount of space that we do get for the whole thing, that is really nothing. I could expand to my little hearts desires.

Hi all,
Yeah.. just noticed the same thing re: change to "unlimited bandwidth".
Also noticed that mu "used disk space" jumped from 18.9MB to 20+MB.
As I didn't upload anything to the server that would have caused an increase in "used disk space"... then .. the only logical reason for this change is..
there's some maintenance going on on the server.
Only the admins know for sure.
Has anyone asked them... PMs or posts???

I just checked mine and I only have unlimited space now, it's back to my normal bandwidth. My disk usage actuallu updated itself though! It used to say I had used 116 mb and I knew it wasn't true but now it's back to normal

Haha what could i possibly do?
No just kidding... I'm only at 75.66 mB and most of it will be gone soon because I accidently erased my boards database.
Only have this one now wich I want to mod with a phpBB rpg game if possible, but it could never be more then 150 mB. (I will post about that script soon as well)
My current board only takes up like 8 mB WITH the rpg allready installed... Only need some addons.
The clan I'm in has her own server as well, so we can share the space.
They make a discussion and I an rpg board (if possible) so don't fear me... I'm still a n00b when it comes to scripts :(

Peace :(

Hmmm...that is interesting. My space did not go. I am still limited by the tos as to what they said theywould give me.

Thats ok though, it is still a pretty good deal for the amount of space you get.

Yeah its probably a maintenence issue or testing issue but it would be amazing to have unlimited space even though i have no clue what i would use it for

If it says unlimited it's unlimited, cpanel will restrict the amount of space you can use. There's no going over, but if cpanel says unlimited then you have unlimited. I currently have unlimited, and judging by the fact that both accounts have unlimited that it is a temporary thing, anyone actualy installed cpanel? There probably is some thing where if you want to add more disk space you must set the current space to unlimited, that way when you come online it can reallocate the space, that would be my guess anyway.

Mine says unlimited space too, but my bandwidth is normal. I came here to see if I could find out what was going on...not that I'm complaining or anything . It just seemed weird that here at Trap 17, people are always saying that there is no such thing as unlimited space, and then I log into cPanel and what do I have? Unlimited space! lol

Sounds like it might just be something to do with maintenance though. Oh well. I don't think I'd ever use more than the allotted 150megs of space anyway. Still, it does look nice logging into cPanel and seeing a message sitting there saying you have unlimited MB of disk space. :(

Well, when I tried to deleted something of huge MB the disk storage didnt change... Then I tried to install phpbb (cost 15 MB of storage) and the disk storage didnt change either! so that means that the server is really wrong and the thing is dont you guys think that opague is somehow missing here?
