I definatley reccomend, if not already said in this post, Xsoft Spy (http://www.xoftspy.com) It cleans everything! All the spyware right off your computer. First it scans every file and tour entire computer, sets aside the spyware, and you can then remove it, works 100%, I love it!

I use a combination of spybot search and destroy, yahoo anti-spy, (sometimes spyware doctor), and BHOdemon to get rid of those nasty browser helper objects that some companies try to install on your computer. Also, I've switched to mozilla firefox about a year and half ago because it cuts down on alot of the spyware that microsoft (probably intentionally) allows companies to install on your computer. There are times though when some spyware slips through the cracks. It's really annoying.
I don't know if you trust microsoft or not, but if you go on download.com you can find microsoft's anti-spyware program and they're providing it for free (I can't believe it
). Hope you find what you're looking for.

I'd recommend Microsoft AntiSpyware...
It's found more on my computer than anything else I've ever had, which included updated versions of AdAware Professional and Spybot: Search and Destroy.
The only problem I've had with it is that I have it scanning daily and that it's semi-annoying when I'm trying to get something done to see the small window pop up in the bottom right corner.

I understand that no one wants to pay for software anymore....or at least pay a yearly rate or something. But when it comes to spyware you should be willing to spend at least 30 bucks. And that's all you have to pay if you get this spyware remove program called spysweeper. It's the best one out there and i used to use adware and spybot and many other free programs. But sometimes the programs themselves give you spyware >.> and that's no good. Plus if you dont wanna pay for the software there are ways around that.....
which i am unable to go into details about...but i did spend the money for it after using it cause i want to support them in making a wonderful program...
One example is when my sister got on my computer and went to god knows what...well took 30mins to open a program...yeah that's how bad it was....but after i ran spysweeper and cleared the thousands i and mean thousands of spyware my computer ran fine.

Microsoft Antispyware, hail Microsoft!
That's the best spyware remover program I ever used, with friendly interfece, and offer some good features such as Track eraser, browser restore, and system explorer. It's free, well at least till now. Because MAP is open beta program, Microsoft have the right to make it retail and put price tag on that cool program

I didn't hear notging about this. It's sound useful. But i will always stay on Ad-Aware and spybot search&destroy. I don't use register editors. They have once charsed my computer tottaly. Only formating disk help.

The best free products out there are:
1. Lavasoft Ad-Aware
2. Spybot Search and Destroy
For best results, you must install both of these on your computer and run them concurrently. When you want to begina scan, scan with Ad-Aware first and then when that scan is finished, scan with Spybot Search and Destroy.
When that scan has finished, reboot your machine and repeat the process.
Keep repeating the process until neither piece of software finds any more spyware - and make sure you have a good pop-up blocker and good anti-virus software on your machine too, some software (like Kapersky) can integrate with your web browser and stop spyware installation when browsing the internet.
