For those of you who still love playing those pixelated games by Maxis like Sim Farm and Sim Tower, this is a good hint for you.

Start a new game in Sim Tower, save it, then exit. Take note of where your filename and where it has been saved.

Open up the DOS Command Prompt. In WinXP this can be found under Accessories in your Start Menu.

Get to the place where your saved file is.

Normally you would type C:\simtower\mytower.tdt ( where "mytower" is the name of your saved file)

After you get there, type

e 100 00 24 ** 00 85 FF FF 00 (where "**" is the number of stars you want your tower to have - 01: one star, 02: two stars, etc.)

Hit enter/return key then type "w", then hit enter/return key again and type "q".

Now exit the command prompt and load up your tower. Happy playing, you're now a millionaire!

hmmmm sholdn't this be more towards the game forum? i guess not but useful anyways.
