China has planned to attack USA if US aids Taiwan anymore. A Chinese General said they would have no option but to start a nuclear war. It would cause great trouble even to the surrounding countries such as Canada, Mexico etc... I think that instead of attacking USA, China should cut off the trade, because at-least it won't cause much destruction. USA has not responded to the comment of China's Nuclear War yet. I think that China will have more victory over USA, because it has a lot of army and advanced weaponry. USA has most of it troops out of country, such as in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel and some other countries I can't think of right now. What do you people think? All comments welcome.

I hadn't heard about this. When and where was this said? You are kind of scaring me here. I just really don't like the idea of war at all. Far too many people in this world have already been killed and are still continuing to die. For everyone's sake, I hope it never comes to that.

What kind of obtuse information did you read, topic starter? Unless you believe that this person's vision is true, your post is nothing but spreading a rumor. Until you can present the factual information this thread is closed. PM any moderator with the factual link and this forum will be opened up for further discussion.

Taiwan will declare its indenpendance from China in March.

If Taiwan succeeds doing that, China have no choice but to attack Taiwan, but not in 2008, maybe in 2009 or 2010. On this condition, if US tries to help Taiwan for its independance with airforce and navy in near Taiwan. China will sure attack back, but I don't think China will attack any part of US unless US uses nuclear weapons on China.

China and you.S.A would never go to war. Even if theres a slight chance, its closer to 0 then it is to 1%.
They depend on each other way to much to even consider breaking their relationships. If China were to cut off their trading with you.S, both country would suffer the loss of a tremendous amount of money. The world is going under inflation, these countries aren't dumb enough to start a war right now. Least not for another 100 years.
China is trying to take back Taiwan without the need of using military force.
There has been rumors that if the you.S doesn't aid Taiwan then Japan would.

look, even though china has a much larger military then the USA has , that doesnt mean anything. The Chinese are using out dated military aircraft older generation 4 planes. The USA with its newer generation 5 fighters like the American only F-22 Raptor and the F-35 joints strike fighter can take on multiple enemies at once. The usa army is coming out with the future land warrior program every 2 years which will give soldiers advantage on the battlefield. China can never invade the USA because its navy is by far too small and too far. If they were to make a move it would be picked up and there efforts sucks. And even though most of our Soldiers and Marines are overseas 89% of americans have guns and many have military and police backround, and gangmembers have the avalability of numbers and weapons. So the chinese would have a terrible time taking over.

No country on this planet will ever destroy AMERICA and the rest of the FREE WORLD.I BELIEVED WHAT CAN DESTROY AMERICA WILL BE SOCIAL DECAY. As long as USA not to create the trouble to China , I think and most people will know China is always a peace loving country from its past history and contemporary history. As long as USA is not invading its sovereignty , China is not a threat to USA and to the world. That's  the most of people will think, although USA is not able fight a brutal war when concerning USA is not a true fighter in its own land like China had already experienced in World World 2 .  Both countries will lose a lot of lives , but China is able to take it , NOT the USA for sure.

The Chinese would not go nuclear against the United States because the U.S. Would assuredly destroy China. The U.S. Has well over a hundred bases in many countries. The U.S., on a belief that a nuclear attack would be eminent would launch stealth bombers to knock out nuclear launch sitess which would diminish China's nuclear capability.U .S. Naval anti-missle weaponry (just like the kind that can knock out satellites) would try to capture missles in-flight. And, there is still in-land missle silos in the you.S.China's strategy would be to hack into U.S. Military computer systems and to knock out U.S. Satellites to limit GPS tracking and bombing abilities. Then an all out nuclear strike.Such war wouldn't occur because there is NOTHING to be gained in the end. Nuclear war is not a real option for ANY of the large world powers (China, U.S., Russia, and up and coming India) because they can all cause global destruction. Now, for 2nd and 3rd world nuclear powers, that's where things get tricky.A declaration of war between China and you.S. Would cause mutual economic destruction. The United States depends heavily on Chinese goods and China depends heavily on the U.S. Buying said goods. Without this trade, both countries economies would collapse. That can be costly for everyone because of how globalization has tied together every country's economy.
