Well, I'm regularly go to Softpedia when looking spesific wares, they got almost all software that I need, from Adware to Freeware.
and also, what I like about that site are they have news section that filled with interesting news from around the globe.

My personal favourites : http://www.sourceforge.net and http://www.cnet.com oh and http://www.freshmeat.com
Freshmeat and sourceforge are pretty much the same, with the same software (I think they work together) and cnet is pretty cool in trial software. Sourceforge is OPEN SOURCE ONLY and has more for Linux but a windows user can find his/her kicks there too.

I like http://sourceforge.net/ , it has alot of freeware and many sites use it as mirrors. Also, if you are just browsing for freeware you can look in catagoreys to find what might be helpfull for you. Download.com is good too, but if your computer crashes...... well that just annoying.

I am sorry but I think this is considered spamming and I suggest youll read the rules and stuff because you can get credit tooken away i think or your site banned to watch out
is spamming advertising sites or flooding forum?
is spamming advertising sites or flooding forum?
no it not consider spam unless thier is a reason why you posted the link but double posting is a spam so i give you a warning on that.
anyways yeah sourceforge is good place for beginning programs to look at software and also a good way for them to fix anything if they find it as well.
tucow- for them its mostly web design stuff, good but don't use them anymore.
download.com-i end up here most of the time when downloading something since its a nice place to advertise your software
zdnet0 don't they work with another download website as well?
the other i dunno if you using combination of letters and numbers i think thats safe haven for virus makers to put their stuff up.

I always use download.com i think there great and deserve more credit !
Its cool that they have so many programs and freetrials so u can try before you buy or choose not to buy based on your trial ( if u liked or didnt like a program or not). Befor i herd about download.com i was endlessly searching the progrma manufacturers for free trials but that can be really time consumeing and somethime impossiable but download.com has it all !
Really great Site www.download.com!
