If you put OTHER, please write down what it is in a post. I've been feeling a little blue a lot lately but not because i'm depressed or anything. It's just that things haven't been going as well as I would like for a while and nobody can really put up with that with a positive attitude for a long time (unless they're really good at exersize:P) .Endorphins are our body's natural happy drug :)

me, I sorta do none of the above. I just kinda get really introverted and quiet. Then I eat a little chocolate, and go somewhere where people can't bother me. I'm clinically depressed, so I can't really help myself too much.
But one thing I do reccommend you is avioding listening to sad music and try to eat a lot of chocolate. A doctor told me that it contains a really tiny amount of anti-depressant in it, so eating it can cheer you up a little.

you can't help yourself much? I don't think that's true at all. I've been depressed for years and didn't get over it until I decided to change it. I had that serotonin deficiency and no drugs or anything got rid of it. only exersize did. So don't go around saying you can't help yourself. anyone can, you just have to want it. Cause if you don't care about getting better, you won't. but if you do, you could.

one of the good things you can do when you are feeling blue
is try to cheer up someone else who is in the same situation.
because both of you are feeling the same way, you can relate
better to each other and help each other more effectively than
other can. and when youhave succeeded in helping the other
person overcome his/her depressed state, you will automatically
feel better youself knowing you have contributed to someone else.

i think thats exactly what you did here. and tell me honestly that
it didnt make both of you feel better that someone cared.

remember, no matter how bad things are going against you,
there will always be people who have it worse than you
and knowing that sometimes help you to overcome your
difficulties. i hope evrerything will turn out fine for both of you.

When i am in blue mode I often listen to music, exercise or try to be creative. Thats good thing, because you are able to redirect bad energy to good energy eg. being creative. Good thing also is to have conversation with some friend or a person whom you trust.
I think that taking anger on someone else is stupid deed, deed that suits unmature and selfish person.
What doesn't kill you, makes you strong. Ay?

I listen to music too, with fast paced electronic music working the best for me. Bothering my rabbit sometimes works well too  .
