im new to using photoshop, im open to criticisms or anything i can do to make my sigs look better.

well.. i guess i have to start somewhere (this is crap)

im not great but you have to work on your boarders and blending ur text better B) good for a first sig probly better then my 1st sig

well to start off welcome to the club but i let you know what you need to to do

1-make sure your border is the top layer and everything else is under unless you do a pop-out sig. also most of the time you want to either do this 3px black 2 px white 1 px black or just 1px black for a border.

2-use the anti alias tool to smooth out the text you can either right on the text or in the tool bar on top in a drop down menu, do concentrate more on the text though, read tutorials on text effects as well. don't want to use bevel all the time, if your going to do a gardiant overlay try to blend it with the background a little bit. Most of the tim doing 1px black stroke arond the text has the best look most of the time.

3-background looks ok but need to work on it somewhat, most of the time you want your render to blend in the background. but that fully depends on the background that you use.
