I know there are many engines around, everything from a ford 302, to the chevy 572. But what is truly the largest engine that has ever been made? I know their out there, and they make the 572 look like a peanut.

There is a show I watched on discovery channel called monster machines and it was showing contruction vehicles that has engines the size of a house. They are just massive but I don't think those are the largest engines. I'm just going to take a guess and say that the platform that NASA uses to haul their space shuttle around has the largest motor due to the enormous size and weight that it can move.
