You need to change the variable 'pausebetweenimages'. it is on line 12 of the first section of code, the bit that goes into the head section.

By default it is set to 3000ms (3 seconds). Simply change it to suit your requirements. Remember it is in milliseconds, so multiply the time in seconds by 1000 to get it in milliseconds (e.g. 2.5 seconds is 2500 milliseconds).

no that just changes the pause before scrolling again. i want the thing to scroll 10px a second , how would i make it scroll faster???????????????????????
