I just created an e-book with pics colours now it's up to the size of 20 MB.
winZipping it doesn't help , I need to compress it so much that I'm stuck whether i should use Total Commander or WinRAR.
i want to be able to send it to people and eventually I will be uploading it onto my server and people will be downloading it from there.

every method of comperssion has options
remember that the more time it thake the better the outcome gets (read smaller)
be aware that if you wanna compress a "compressed" content you aint gonna gain much. By that i mean JPG,GIF,AVIssss etc - thise sourser are already compressed.
no2
winzip is the worst achriving standard ever build
winrar is mych better so does Gzip and Bzip(linux)
ACE stands even higher
and if your into comandline UHARK is the hardcore when it comes to compression

There is a limit when you are compressing files. Expecially for JPEGs or other picture formats. Cause these formats tend to be already compressed by their algorithms, so make double compression will not make your files lot smaller, only few kB. Sometimes is gets even biggers
.
Better solution is to recompress files to lower JPEG level in Photoshop. That could do the trick you want.
