millertime... tell your parents it is FREE and they are just using the credit card as a fraud check.  Tell them the card will not be billed...  otherwise, simply apply for your own credit card.  With a job paying $10 an hour, you will be able to get a credit card.  I got my first credit card at 15 (without parental help).

Credit card companies will give you credit when you are a student.  Usually only a $500 limit but that's all you'll need. They do this because, the student will usually be loyal (stay with) the credit card company for a long time.

I am still using my first credit card and see no reason to change.  This is like over 10 years after my first card.

i really want my own domain but it's just too expensive for me, considering that i can do the same for free in trap17. yes the name is cooler but the hosting and domain fees are not cheap, and also not easily payable if you don't live in the US and don't have a credit card...

Does anyone know which company accepts Paymate as payment? Paymate is the australia version of Paypal and I used to use it to pay for my runescape membership.

and also domains should be pay-once-for-life. why do you have to keep renewing it every year?

Do the search engines distingues between the domain types? I mean, if you use one of these free domains, will it hurt in the search engines?

:) You're really concerned about search engines. I know I was a couple of months ago - Google indexed my site and I was so excited (the keywords "sang nguyen" took you to my site immediately, then I changed hosts and my rank dropped like the atomic bomb).

To answer your question, search engines are very objective. Believe it or not, computers, not humans, go through your site and index it to their database, so it doesn't care whether you use a .tk domain, or a .job domain.

:)
