dx level problemHelp With Counter Strike Source

 why does my css crash when I put it to mat_dxlevel 80  and join a server and I have direct x 10

i can't find/have c:\program files\valve\steam\steamapps\\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg how can i get it back or get it? :blink:

My aim is not appearing on the screen . How do you get back ? I try to re-install game twice and steam . Any suggestion ? Is it possible that steam saved those settings automatically ?
