Ever wonder why girls always go to the bathroom in groups? Example:

"I'm going to go to the bathroom, wanna come with me?"

"Sure!"

Well, I've figured it out. They race. There are different kinds of races, such as duration, or speed. There is even evidence to believe that there is a scoreboard in their bathrooms. Even scorecards! Yes, scorecards, and guess where they keep them? In their purses. That's why they always bring their purses to the bathroom. Otherwise you could just show up in a bathroom and challenge someone but they won't believe that you're that fast if you don't have your scorecard! Anyone could claim to be the fastest bathroom-goer, right? Of course I am.

But then, there are rare occurrences in which one girl might go by herself. But, this can't be, it goes against the code! Well, to an extent... You see, when they go alone, they are merely practicing for the next time they have a friend to compete against. Yes, it should all make sense now.

Hahahah, brilliant guess man. Though sometimes girls spend so much time in the bathroom that they might be going for long-term endurance rather than speed ;P I mean, seriously, no one should need to take 30 minutes to goto the bathroom (I'm not talking about showers, etc here).

On a more serious note, when they goto the bathroom in pairs it's usually because they want to talk privately about someone else that they're hanging out with...usually a guy. Or, atleast, that is what I've been told by numerious women. I guess they could go and talk about another girl...but I think the girl in question would be more likely to catch on than a (mostly) oblivious guy. Some girls also use the chance to put on make-up, etc, or check themselves out in the mirror.

Yeah, it's really irritating when girls do this. I don't understand why one girl having to go to the bathroom makes the rest of them go. It's obvious that they are talking about you and it can really make you nervous. :/

Well girls CANNOT do alone nothing in the real world. So that is way they going in groups even itno bathrooms : )

I'm not really sure. Maybe girls just like to hang out in there. Does anyone know if they really have sofas in there? lol, we need a girl's thought on this topic.

hummmmmm some very interesting theories there, as you all say they spend a damn long time in the toilets, my mate said to me that what they do is go in and they have a smoke what they do is get wet toilet paper and smoke into it then when they finish they put the butt in the cigerette and they throw it onto the ceiling??? kinda wierd but apparently true lol

although i think they must just go in to do make up and to talk about people and stuff and to dis people lol, maybe one day we will know the true meaning of girls and the bathroom, just another one of those wierd miysteries!

although i expect there is a lot simpler reason for masses of girls going to the toilet at once im having fun listening to people theories on this subject lol its kinda funny really talking about girls peeing or are they?? lol well anyone with any more ideas on what women do in the bathroom for that painstaking 30 minutes while you stand patiently for them outside looking like an idiot??? lol well anymore ideas then??? ::::

haha. maybe we do try to go speedy, and maybe not! The world may never know...but theres the question that if we do go to have races, why does it take us that painfully slow 30 min? The graphiti on the walls of course! First we have to read ALL of it, then we have to comment all of it, and start our own little...converation via bathroom wall.

I'm a girl and I don't like go to the bathroom with someone, but it's true: a lot of girls do that.

I remember once I went to the bathroom with a friend and she took me some photos making my body necessities. It was so funny .

But I can't understand why a lot of girls do that .

But if I must go to a public bathroom of a train or subway station, I prefer be with somebody because is a few scary.

I can't see why anyone wants to socialize in a bathroom anyway, most public restrooms are very dirty and occasionally nasty. I only goto the restroom in public if nessecary. I think girls goto the bathroom together to talk about men, and to clean themselves up or to do some type of test. to see if the guy will notice lol, Yes im a guy! But thinking on that line makes it seem very possible. Just my opinion anyways...

well i believe that girls go there to talk privately aswell. toilets may be dirty in some places, but its just that private atmosphere which allows them to talk to each other without the worry of anybody hearing. i also believe that its for protection. girls have been killed and raped in toilets before and when going into a public toilet at a train station for example, it could be fairly scary to go alone. even i'm scared of going into public toilets like that... if your so curious why dont you just ask a girl. not that hard, i would've asked myself but i'm not really interested as to why they do this lol.
