Seriously, Google has been the only search engine I started using. It has gottenme through tons and tons of homework and essays in high school. Now that I am a college student, Google has never been so important to me. I need this search engine. I hope they never go away. Before my Google days, I used to use AOL search, Altavista, and i think Yahoo. Then I found google. when i had found it, it wasnt that big and it was growing rapidly...

Yes, Google brought all thse awesome features!! Its not just some ordinary search engine! I would like to see a google math helper thingy. You plug in an equation and tell what kind of answer you want. That would be fuc**n awesome.

well i've used yahoo.com and ask.com before google. i've also used a local search engine (i think it's local, since the name is a local expression) named yehey.com. it was kind of a rip-off of yahoo, something like a local version of yahoo.com

Life online with out google would not exsist. it is teh number one search engine. what would happen if google suddenly crashed? Panic, anarchy, a reversion back to simpler times? Heaven forbid we take to Yahoo...

Before google i was going on msn to search for everything that i ever wanted but now i use google my friend told me about a while back then i started to use it.

I have always used google. I have never used another because it's the easiest, simpliest and nicest that I've found yet.

When I first started using the Internet (about more than ten years ago) I must admit that Yahoo and Excite were the first search engines/directories I used. Not too long after that I used Alta Vista. Then around late 1999/early 2000 a friend of mine mentioned about a site called Google...so I checked it out and...well, that's what I've been using since then.

i barely remember a time when i was without google. I must have been pretty young. (too lazy to calculate actual age). I remember using yahoo and askjeeves until my uncle told me that google was much better. I didnt listen to him (after all, yahoo was my home page, my email inbox and news source (or maybe it wasnt, i cant remember). now i dont use anything besides google....
I still remember though, the first few weeks of using askjeeves i would always ask a question, till i realized it was pointless

I wasn't a big internet user back then before google came along. But I remember using Yahoo and that was about all I knew. But now, I only use google but when I can't find something I'll just try other sites where aren't even as accurate as google? Not so sure but anyhow. I can't recall anything besides yahoo.

Before Google, I used Kartoo, Altavista, MetaCrawler, Yahoo and AskJeeves

I still use these search engines also with the new MSN Live search for research because Google is worth for researching as it limits the number of results for each search query.
