FileZilla is my choice. I use Dreamweaver's built-in publishing client as well for quick uploads of a few files, especially with complex links and dependencies.

Mine is WS_FTP PRO. It has a cool user interface and it does most FTp jobs well.

I just type: ftp://username:passw...name.trap17.com into my browser and use that. It works because I don't use Dreamweaver, i make my sites with pure HTML. :P

SmartFTP WOULD be my favorite if it allowed you to upload folders. It's like the best FTP client I've ever used, but it doesn't let you upload folders >_>. I use Filezilla for most of my stuff, but if I only have to update a page or 2 I'll use SmartFTP.

mine's TURBOFTP.... mostly because it can resume uploads. :P can also upload multiple folders in queue. plus explorer directory interface so you can view
BOTH the FTP window and your PC files. drag-and-drop. imports also FTP
settings from other FTP apps. with backup option for FTP settings/address
book. easy CHMOD. easy synchronize. + more features... :P

on pc I use ws_ftp. It works better than cute ftp or any of the others I have tried previously.
On my macs though (the only REAL work systems around) I use Fetch, or the built in interface in Dreamweaver MX. They both work well, and it just depends what you are wanting to use the ftp for, i.e. webpages, or larger file transfers. :P
