I would just like to hear from anyone who has used google adsense if they have made any good money while using G.A. And if you did have luck what sort of website content do you have on your website ?? i'm interested to sart a site and sign up for google adsense but i not tooo sure what type of site to build so i just wanted to get a better idea before i go to work on this !

so: I had adsense on my previous site, but I accidentally clicked on one of my ads, so they shutted down my account..I`m currently working on another project (a more important one, so to say) and I`ll signup for Adsense with this one too..and I surely won`t do the mistake again ) I had a good amount of money (not very much, but not neglectable )

about what type of website: anything that is ok with their TOS...(generally, no pornography, warez, illegal stuff and so on..just read on their site)
in order to win something (I mean, not 2 cents/week), you need traffic.
If you have a lot of visitors, you will win at least a good amount

You won`t lose anything if you signup and try, however:)

My site has been up for a month today, it had a slow start and has had adsence from the start, it has currently made $8.19 , i know it is not a lot but this is in the first month of a site with only 32 members at present and 1200 or so posts.

As for what site to make, my suggestion would be to make a site on something you enjoy / are interested in. When you make a site on something you don't enjoy or are not interested in the subject it is based on you will quickly lose enthusiasm for the site. If i where you i would start a forum, i find it a fun type of site to run / maintain and you can make them suit your subject very nicely, also ads can easily be integrated and can generate quite a few hits (i have heard stories)

be serious, who is going to tell you how they have succeded with adsense? This would mean that you could be a competitor in the same field and take users to your site.

I don't have a ga site but you can take a look at ouverture to make an ideea of what peoople search most and that's probably the fields advertisers throw their money to.

Some good points are Law, Insurance, Cars, Medicines(drugs eg Valium etc), Videogames, Software Antivirus.

i also agree with writting something you're keen of and be patient and insisting.

From all my sites (8), I get about 220k impressions and 9k click thrus making about $1500 a month. Not bad since now it takes about 20 hours a week to maintian the sites, but it took months to set up the sites and a couple years to build a steady flow of consumers. On some of the sites, there are other advertising options for local vendors and that made about $9500 during the first three months until things with A.S. built up.

As with any good site, it takes time to build them.

Wow nice, that is about a 4% ctr isn't it, my current sites ctr is 0.75%

As BlenderG said your site won't get instant traffic and instant cash, but if you are patient and keep the site updated and fresh, as the site gets older it will get a steadier flow of traffic thus causing a steadier flow of ad clicks.

Yeah I been using Google Adsense for about 3 months now and made about $2.30 at last check, I dont expect to make alot of money from Google Adsense but I think that getting a 100 dollar check from google in the mail one day would be great if my site ever gets that popular, and thats in US dollars which of course US currency is worth alot nearly everywhere. I get about 400 hits a month on my website and 50000 on my wap site, now if google offered you to put Adsense on wap sites, (not sure if they do) but if they did I would be very rich in a year , well since $100 is rich to me anyway.

I think Google Adsense is a great service and not only just for big websites, it can pay off for smaller websites if you just hang in there. Also once when I had Opera browser I had a page on my site full of google ads, about 5 different ones and just set opera's auto refresh onto refresh every 30 mins, but I didn't do it for long, thought I would get in trouble or something

I use it on my sites and I dont make much yet. Its been a steady 100 a month. But I just made a new site so hopefully it will add some revenue....

And they may not tell the real reason. They have emplyees who work according to mood and may ban several accounts a day even if you are following the program policies. They may ban even if you are serving ads on good site.

Any small time surfer may get you banned with invalid clicks. Google people have thick mind. They just ban you even if others are clicking on your sites too much just to get you banned. So easy. 

So Adsense is a dangerous program.
