Far more user friendly for admins and members. The developers put more thought in new features instead of just adding stuff. vB isn't very modern or modern looking unless you skin the hell out of it.

I think you didn't seen the new version of VB. New version of VB is hell lot of improvement and just few modification and you'll see a much better VB. Even default skin is changed and is enough to let you have some different look than earlier. Also vb is available as forum and suite versions. In suite version you'll find better design to forum and CMS by default.

Wow kind of a useless thread you made there as haslip said. Anyway moving on I voted for vBulletin, Although it is very expensive it a one time payment, very professional and advance to use making it less likely someone can hack your forum.
