I've got a few quotations that have kinda stuck in my mind over the years:
"I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by." ~ Douglas Adams
"Men live in a fantasy world. I know this because I am one, and I actually receive my mail there." ~ Scott Adams
"If at first you don't succeed, find out if the loser gets anything." ~ Bill Lyon

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green He leadeth me the silent waters by.
With bright knives He releaseth my soul.
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places.
He converteth me to lamb cutlets,
For lo, He hath great power, and great hunger.
When cometh the day we lowly ones,
Through quiet reflection, and great dedication
Master the art of karate,
Lo, we shall rise up,
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water.

Good Lord! (Pun intended) I absolutely loved that one

Common-sense punishes all departures from her, by forcing those who rebel into a desperate war with all facts and experience, and into a still more terrible civil war with each other and with themselves.

It is in disputes as in armies, where the weaker side sets up false lights, and makes a great noise, to make the enemy believe them more numerous and strong than they really are.
A few interesting and practical ones.

I just love this quote, its so true that whatever we fail in our life it teaches us where success is,and how to get it.i simply love this one
then there is,
