Xisto and ComputingHost are proud to present: Qupis! Free single text ad Web Hosting, optimized for quality.

Quote

Our main aim is to provide Quality Web hosting (with Cpanel) for FREE. To generate revenue, We place tiny ONE Line Text ads at the bottom of your pages. The Ads being purely Textual can be easily blended by our members.

You have been spreading Trap17 and ComputingHost throughout the World Wide Web and the response has been very favorable. Trap17.net was a huge success but Xisto Corporation (headed by OpaQue) felt it could be even better. Qupis offers cPanel, PHP, SQL, add-on & park just like the Trap17.COM Free Web Hosting, No Ads account. This free web hosting does not require your active participation in our forums. But instead, Qupis will place a single text ad at the bottom of your every page. This is to generate much needed revenue to sustain the absolute free web hosting service. One single text ad will blend with your site seamlessly. Qupis offers the same hosting space and bandwidth as Trap17.com's Default Package--150 MB and 5 GB BW.

Signing up is easy and instantaneous! Visit http://www.qupis.com today and see what Qupis can do for you.

Wow so it is just a small text add. That is cool most of other ads are huge banners that mess up your page order. :D So this is good news :P

So here you dont have to participate at all? You simply sign up and they place a text ad? I have just a quick question:

1) Am i able to edit and change the colors and fonts ect of the text. For example could i have it placed on every page, but put it on the right side in a div box or something? Or does it have to be on the bottom and black and yellow?

2) Why when i try to sign up it keeps giving me an error that my email is not valid. I tried 3 gmail accounts and one hotmail and gave up. Not so easy as you say now is it? haha just kidding with you, but it would be nice to get that resolved. I woul really like to try out this hosting. Could be greta for my portfolio site for my artwork.

Opaque,

I had a similar e-mail problem while setting up an account. It did not accept the email address I originally used, but accepted a second one. I have received the validation e-mail and replied to it, but the log-in is being refused for "Wrong email or password".

Kindly advise. Thanks.

I's suggest that the limit for passowrd is not so good, I normally use a password greater than 10 characters.

I'm using the version of cPanel for nearly 6 months, so I did'nt find it difficult to get used to the new interface.

Can we customise the way the links appear, say in sidebar or use attractive graphics, so that it can merge witht the site layout.

Yes - I'd like to be able to do the same thing as my site has three columns and long one liner wouldn't work. Is there anyway to view a sample page before signing up?

the QUPIS demo page can be found at http://demo.qupis.com/

the one-line advertising is added on the bottom of the page, as part of the terms of service at QUPIS.com.

Perhaps in the future OpaQue may develop which type of ads to appear. But for now the Terms Of Service is that one single text line ad is to be placed at the end of each page.

Mmmm... I was just looking for an applause smiley to put here. I'm sorry it have taken me this long to realize about this.

I mean, what great news! I think that the idea of only one line text instead of banner is awesome, and of course that the hosting is pretty less restricted that Trap17.net was. But as a non-English speaker I congratulate you for removing the "English webs only" that deter some people from using Trap17.net. So, congratulations again, for another great service. And that text is like having the typical text about the author of the template or whatever, looks insignificant. That and nothing is almost the same.

I undoubtedly will check it out when I have an idea of a new website to do.
