hehe I am a student... ive sent over 3000 text messages a month so I have to have unlimited teting on my phone. Its only bout $10 with bell. I think. Don;t think those 60 (2 a day X 30) are going to help me out much :D

Pretty interesting idea. I sort of wonder though if it charges extra to those that the text message is being sent to. Will they receive the text message from some out of the country number and have to pay a premium fee? Luckily most cell phone providers are starting to provide unlimited text messaging for a cheap price, my family got a plan for the 5 of us and we only pay I think $5 a month for unlimited texting which isn't necessarily free but it may save others from being charged. Plus it's easier just to use a cell phone, keyboard or not, because you won't always have a computer around if you need to text. If you can't send text messages though this may be a good way to go as well.

I use a desktop application called Chikka. You could send SMS to different cellphones all around the world whose network providers are registered to their system. The only problem with that is you could only send a limited number of SMS and you have to wait for the other end to reply to your messages so you can send messages again.

Nice, add www.callwave.com to the list, though its only going to be free during their beta stage, but with so many others offering this same service free I dont think they will last.
