i'm not sure what your asking for. If your asking for another program to look at the world, then yes, there is the microsoft version, but I forget what the name is. If your asking for a program that can give you directions, there's tons of them. There are gps programs, microsoft again has their own version, and there is also google maps.

As for an actual downloadable program, I am not sure. But if you need directions to places go to http://mapquest.com or "Yahoo Maps" or you can go to MSN, http://maps.live.com It's called, Microsoft Virtual Earth. In each you can get an Aerial view of the world or just a map for your instructions. Hopefully this is what you are looking for.

i have some problem in trouble shooting google earth as it generated error in my current windows installation .... so i want to use any alternative soft. just like google earth... these links are live picture over web i am a dial up user any good alternate for google earth or just like same services..

Well I hard good thing about http://www.flashearth.com/, but I have never tried it and live picture well google doesn't have live pictures that part I know because I used to use it and I checked my house but it was a picture before I had it remodeled to I don't know where your gonna find that.
