Greetings and salutations to one and all!

I can't be the only Harlan Ellison fan here, so I'd like you all to come outta the woodwork and talk to me!

For those who don't know... IMHO Mr. Ellison is just the best writer the 20th century produced. It's hard to categorize his work, but whatever you do don't let the man himself or a rabid fan ever catch you calling it sci-fi. A fate worse than death awaits you if you do!

Listen to the man read the story Palidin of the Lost Hour. It's an amazing story in and of itself, but when you hear him read it it's totally amazing!

I don't like audio books very much but all I can say is that it's true that Harlan Ellison is one of the best writers I know, my favorite story from him is I have no mouth and I must scream, which won a Hugo prize for Best short story in 1968. Ellison is very original and i definitely recommend his books to anyone who likes sci-fi stories.
