Ha, that wasn't much fun, very annoying, indeed. However, if you hold the Enter key you can fly through all the pop up boxes very swiftly.

Coincidence is non-sequitur, therefore everything has a reason for its existence (except if they are eternal).

See, Opera has a feature against this: They have a checkbox where you can stop executing the script. This website cannot compete with Opera. But i'm not willing enough to read all "241" messages in each alert dialog.

yup actually I tried to open the site using Opera and it blocked all those annoying 241 messages! I don't understand why would someone do something stupid and annoying like this... what's the point from doing it anyway?

That's not really annoying. Look at almost any MySpace profile. Your eyes will melt out of your head. There are also YTMNDs made specifically to be very annoying with only the use of sound and pictures:
http://tellmeaboutth...tles.ytmnd.com/
http://polendcraft64.ytmnd.com/
http://ddrpolendvote6.ytmnd.com/
The middle one is probably the most annoying at the end.

I'm pretty sure it was just a gag, not a malicious attack. Also, when I held enter, my computer wasn't fast enough to keep up with my keyboard so it opened more pages! Luckily since i use firefox all i had to do was hit ok then press ctrl+f4 immediatly after.

Not so annoying for opera users although I guess it would have been quite a bad experience if I had used any other browser.

If you have noscript installed on your Mozilla browser it wouldn't be so annoying as well, and if you knew that trick from somewhere else previously then you just ignore the information bar.
