As I have gotten older and many of my friends are having to have physicals done to be approved for health insurance, some of them are being denied for something as simple as high cholesterol. They were so surprised by this. Has anyone else heard of this? I am having a physical for health insurace in three weeks so I am going to get some lab work done before I meet with the insurance company's nurse. I found this place www.labsconnect.com where I can get labs done confidentially. This way if my cholesterol or glucose is high I can fix it before I get denied coverage. I am interested if anyone else has done something like this before a physical?
