Not a great site for people w/ 15 inch monitors, but oh well. I just got the forums up as well, so join them if you want to.

Ehhh...you're right. it sucks for 15 inch monitors. You probably might want to fix that. Okay, here are the good things

[+]
- Good color scheme, the blue is nice.
- Nice banner.
- The spikey things around the edge of the site, very cool.

Now here's the bad...

[-]
- Forums. Total suck. 'Nuff said.
- On your "Links" page, the background does not show up. Fix it, please.
- On your "Contact" page, I get a "Page can not be found" error.
- The news page...you might want to get cutenews, it's a great news management system that runs on php. If you don't know any php at all, you're going to want to stay away from it unless you can get someone to help you.

THE UGLY D:

[;)]
- Times New Roman font. So ugly...change it to Verdana 8px (maybe even 10 px, whichever is better for you).
- Not much time and effort put into the site design, as I can tell.
- The whole deal with side scrolling.

Final score: 6.2

I can't say that I care for much of your sites design. I have a 17" monitor and it still isn't looking quite right to me. The individual pages seem to be a bit midiocre and not well thought out in reguards to layout. It practically looks like a pre-made template that you just filled in.

The forums, dear me, are just plain fugly. They don't even resemble your main site in the slightest degree. I don't really like being harsh. But sometimes, being blunt about something is the fastest way to get through to someone. I would take the time to work on your site much more before releasing it to the web for review or even use.

Well.. The design and the background are not bad, nothing really special..
But change the font to something else! Times new roman doesn't look good at all. Change it to something smaller like verdana as it was suggested before. Use css for the links. It's not very nice when they're blue and underlined. changing the link style makes things a bit better especially with some other font...
the menu..i don't like this font there at all, looks so clumsy and big and ugly.....something smaller would be much better...
Forums, well the style is so dark and it should be something brighter and blue should be one of the colours because your site has a lot of blue..
it's your site but I think you should make it better because a good site with nice design attracts a lot of visitors!

Hey reduce ya screen resolution. I, for instance will not have the patience of scroliing to and fro on the computer screen. I will advice you to keep it at 800 x 600 pixels resolution.

I actually didnt take my time to go thru your website cos of the resolution.

Hi

It's not all bad but there is room for improvement. The forums design should be the same as the other pages and I also wouldn't have a forum unless I start getting decent traffic, as I find empty forums to be a good way of letting users know that there is nobody on your site.
I have a 19 inch monitor set at 800X600 and I have to scroll left and right to see the whole page, there is no need for that, I would resize.
You need content but I am sure you haven't worked on that yet.

Good luck

Patrick

It's cute I love it but I really hate the Times New Roman font. Please change it to verdana or arial. I love the layout. It's really cute. ;)

Pretty good...

The goods:

Banner is nice.
The little logo thing in the content area works.
The splash is well done, if in colors that I don't really like. :)

The bads:

Yes, the forums ARE ugly...just to reinforce that.
Times New Roman...just doesn't work.
The main navbar kinda...ruins the layout. It's so stretched, bulky...even hard to read.
And...I don't like that shade of blue. But that's just me.

Not that bad, not that bad at all...
First thing I don't like is the black outline. Try to cut it out and then you'll have your "blast" effect more effective  Also, have you tried to put a rollover image on menu buttons. Menu Font is OK.
Next, forum template doesn't have anything with the rest of the site. Why don't you change it ? Forum has a gray scheme and site has a blue, where's the logic? Forum isn't part of the site ? I don't understand.
I still can't understand why do people use Times New Roman. Time of this font has passed, it was popular 6-7 years ago and now it is over. Verdana, Tahoma, Trebuchet MS... those are fonts you should use.

I'm using 1024x768 resolution and Firefox and I still have a horizontal scrollbar. This is the biggest minus for this site.

Greetz!

Horizontal scrollbar is due to image on location http://www.adesign.t.../images/Top.gif and it is 1037px width and then if you have some padding and margins added, it result in scroll bar. You can have dynamic width but you must take into account the smaller resolution you will be supporting.
