I am using SmartFTP but it will not connect to the site here. I am using my username and password. This is what it keeps saying:

Resolving host name "ftp://ftp.itek.trap17.com/"
[16:52:49] Unable to resolve host name.
[16:52:49] Active Help: http://www.smartftp.com/support/kb/81
[16:52:49] Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...

What am I doing wrong here?

How new is your account? It takes time to propagate domain names.

Look in the tutorial Forum for a Mod to your HOSTS file to speed up the linking. You will need to have the trap17 IP address to alter the HOST look-up.

The above In red is where you are going wrong.

It should read "ftp://itek.trap17.com"
or "ftp.itek.trap17.com"

With having ftp://ftp.itek.trap17.com, The FTP client is looking for a ftp site under the subdomain "ftp.itek.trap17.com"
