Kurt Vonnegut

So i'm reading Kurt Vonnegut's book, "Timequake" and I just really wanted to know what all of you thought about the weird author? Have any of you read his novels? They really intrigue me because of his critique of society and the everyday things we do. I look at him as an observer. Almost like George Carlin but of the written word. Anyway I really......REALLY enjoyed the book "Cat's Cradle" which says a lot about people, religion, war, government. It's all pretty wild when reading it.

So the point of this thread is to discuss:

1.) Have you read any Kurt Vonnegut novels?

2.) What are your favorite Vonnegut books? (i'm looking for recommendations)

3.) Do you know of any similar authors/styles of books?
