Rock Band, released for the Playstation 3 and XBOX 360, is a rhythm-based music simulation game which requires two to four players to perform karaoke-style guitar/bass/drum/vocal rounds in order to gain fame and cash. Players can customize their rock star avatars and earn cash for hiring managers and so forth. Requirement for the game are two guitars, drums, and karaoke microphone.

i want this game so bad!!! i was gonna buy it, but i dont have a PS3 or XBOX 360, which is depressing. but once i buy one, this is definately the first game i am buying.

I'm in the same situation as silver_wolves... I'm really looking forward to this game, it'd be sweet!!!

Especially since I'm in a band... but we can't play any shows because its an online band (record wat you need to, share, and track... then release...)... so yeah.... this would give the expiereience lol!
