okay, this is where i got stuck.

"Once is it disable, right click the internet connection and click properties. Go to the Advanced tab and check off "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection." Allow this to finish, it may take a little bit. Once it is done, your internet connection should say shared next to the status of the connection."

currently, i have my wireless connected & the LAN because i disabled the wireless & realized i needed it to search some stuff online & couldnt figure out how to enable it again. anyways, i dont see the internet connections where i'm suppose to right click. not sure if its suppose to be on the left side, but if it is, all i have is control panel home, manage wireless networks, change adapter settings, change advanced sharing settings & then at the bottom under "see also", i have home group, internet options, & windows firewall. help?

It failed to connect for me.

When I diagnose/repair my local area connection it says it has not got a valid IP address, using the reset network does not work either
