Has anyone read or watched the Kite Runner? I think it was a fabulous book with a creative writing style. I loved how the author transitioned from their childhood life to adulthood. His style also made his book kind of unpredictable. I'm not giving any spoilers but I think it was an excellent book and deserves a good read. My favorite part would have to be near the ending, mainly at the climax. The ending also kinda makes you want to know what happens after that. If you haven't read the Kite Runner, do it now.
Also, I recommend A Thousand Splendid Suns, it's the author's second book.

I personally have not read this book yet... and I refuse to watch the movie before I have read the book. My mom and dad have both read the book and say that its very good. I look forward to both.

Oh, it's very sad book, it's impossible to don't cry at the end... How ever, I like more "A thousand splendid suns"... By my taste, they are a little bit depressive, but very, very good... Those are books that I will keep reading over and over...

The Kite Runner is a fantastic book and look at Afghani life. However, I've also read A Thousand Splendid Suns, and can safely say that it is much more sad, considering how poorly women are treated compared to men in Afghanistan.

I strongly recommend reading both of these books.

Regards,

z.
