Removal of Diet sodas AND regular sodas from your diet.Diet Sodas/artificial Sweeteners Relationship With Cancer?

You may consider taking them out of of your diet.

Besides the fact that they are empty calories and that water hydrates you a lot better, you would be wise to eliminate any sugars (fake, real or from parts of ions of real sugar) in your diet are dangerous in excess. If you like drinking these daily, I would consider that excess.

I was once told that if it is not food, you should not eat it. Food is anything that can rot or go bad. Preservatives in themselves make food and soda unreal.

diet coke and kidney cancerDiet Sodas/artificial Sweeteners Relationship With Cancer?

My mom was a extremely healthy individual. She worked out daily, ate a perfect diet of green veggies, fish, chicken and whole grains. She did not drink alcohol other then an occasional glass of wine, she did everything right...Except for her Diet Coke. She drank it daily. Several a day. She died August 22, 2009 after a kidney cancer (rcc) diagnosis on Feb 13th. The tumors went from her kidneys to her lungs, her spine, her intestines, her liver, face and pancreas. I can honestly say that the Only thing she did wrong in her life was diet pop. Stay away from it.

 Oh...She was a nurse.

RIP

I think everything you buy you have to worry about really.
They all have additives, even vegetables have been sprayed
with something.
The only safe bet is to grow you're own, which isn't very easy to do.
We are living in difficult times.

I don't know of any facts connecting the two, only my personal experience. I am scheduled for surgery for a precancerous lesion on my tongue. I have none of the risk factors such as smoking, etc. The only thing I have done is drink 4-5 diet cokes daily for over 25 years. My doctor says their is no connection but you really have to wonder. By the way, I have had no carbonated beverages or artificial sweeteners since my diagnosis.
