Hi, I'm using Adobe Flash C3 Ver. 9.0 and need to convert either a .swf file or a .flv file to get it into Final Cut, (probably to quicktime right?). I am inexperienced with the program and can't seem to get it to work. Little help?

It seems that this tool can convert .swf or .flv to .mpg which I think can be read by QT.

You can pick up some good tips on flash video convertion and download their trial version even if you don't buy into their program - which looks good.

Converting these files can be tricky because a lot of traditional programs don't accept them. If you want to, you can get a program to help you (I don't know of any).
Or, you can do the conversion online. There is an awesome site that allows you to upload and then download the file without a program.

It works really well, I haven't had it die on me, and it is pretty quick, especially if you're using flv files... they're tiny.
The site should have a bunch of flags and a lizard on it.

as I know mov is the right format for quicktime,

and I know leawo free flv converter can convert flv to all kinds of formats including mov, totally free.

if your swf file is the source file you can use flash cs3, but if not, you can use iwisoft swf to mov converter which has a good conversion quality.

I used it to convert swf to mov and avi. Works excellent. It can also convert flv to mov. You can have a try.

convert flv to Qicktime,i use leawo free flv converter
conver swf to Qicktime,i use moyea swf to video converter

use imtoo coverter or xillisoft
and to swf that i aslo dunno
better look above you can get the answer
but still you can run swf with quick time widout any conversion.
