[lil poetry]

Now I’ve always kept to myself, did *BLEEP* by myself
but the day you left us I lost a part of myself
I’ve never been an open person
but you could read my eyes
separate the truth from my lies
I’ve never played by the book, had a different persona
lived in my own world, I even confused the schizophrenic
no matter which personality our friendship was always authentic
I know its cliché but you knew me best
believed in me when I was doubted by the rest
the motto was – we ride together, we die together, homies for life
now I’m urging all my brothers in the streets not to carry that knife
lighting wont strike until it happens to you
the storm is here, the sky is no longer blue
clouded by the mist my conscious won’t get through
one message as my head says revenge
but will the sun come out if I take the challenge
I aint a violent person that I’ll confess
but there aint nothing more frightening that a man with nothing to lose
prison is old news and your life won’t be taken in vain, that I refuse
I used to dream the same dream of making it big as a superstar
now the only way I get to talk to you is by wishing upon a star
when it hit me colours became lifeless, food was tasteless
and when I think about what the knife does I feel worthless
I’m angry for not being there for you
I’m saddened by the fact you died alone
I’m angry at the world as the media refers to you as a statistic
with the world and the knife together it’s hard to be optimistic
living in fear with a pessimistic view and this is all realistic
the world is to devious so forget being rich and famous
I was planning on us being the A-Team, cheated by death
had to pay a price for that dream, as you lost your breath
time will tell whether the sun will shine again
but our memories will always bring forth the rain
will always love you bro for you forever remembered
